DECISION TREE SIMPLIFICATION THROUGH FEATURE SELECTION APPROACH IN SELECTING FISH FEED SELLERS

Feed is a crucial variable because it can determine the success of fish farming. Breeders use two types artificial feed, namely alternative feed and pellets. Many cultivators need pellets as main consumption for they are cultivating contain composition that has been adjusted to their needs based on type age fish. However, currently, facing problem, high price market. Therefore, an analysis classification selection sellers needed several criteria like number price, order, delivery, availability discounts. This study conducted simplification characteristics in selecting Kendal Regency would then be compared with model without feature by utilizing Decision Tree C4.5 method. The results this decision tree best performance where application selected accuracy value 92%, while 86.8%. indicate method features better than so applied freshwater Regency.
